Biography

He is a journalist, writer, gastronome and TV presenter. In the 1970s he began writing on the Corriere della Seradealing with crime news. It gives life in the Milanese daily newspaper to the weekly restaurant pages, with the critique column The little black face. In the 1980s he was responsible for the Red Prawn, at the time a daily supplement The Manifesto. He was one of the founders of the Espresso's Guide to Italywhich he was responsible for from 1996 to 2001, also taking care of the two-page column The Gluttonpublished in the weekly L'Espresso. Since 1986 in the newspaper The Press published his own critical reviews of hotels and restaurants. He has a column in the Enjoyment of Readingthe weekly magazine of the National Newspapercommon back to three newspapers, Il Giorno, Il Resto del Carlino, La Nazione. He is a columnist for Raspelli Magazinethe online magazine on Italian food and wine.
Among the television programmes in which he participated: Feeling good at the table on Odeon, What are you doing, eating? on Rai 2, Eat Parade, TG2 column on Rai 2, Phenomena on Rai 2, Beware of the wolf on Rete 4, from 1998 to 2019 Melaverde on Rete 4.
