Giovanna Manzi is a unique figure in the Italian landscape, thanks to a career that combines a pioneering vision in the world of technology with recognised leadership in the hotel industry. Born in Naples and raised in Assisi, with a degree in Economics and Finance, Manzi has stood out from the beginning of her career for her ability to innovate and anticipate change.
Following initial experiences in the United States and at Best Western, where she held key marketing roles, she consolidated technological expertise at Amadeus, a multinational leader in global distribution systems. Her contribution to the launch of Travelonline, the first Italian B2C tourism portal, testifies to her pioneering aptitude in digital travel.
At just 37 years old, she was called to lead Best Western Italia, with the objective of transforming a consortium of hoteliers into a truly structured and innovative company. Under her leadership, the group grew to 180 affiliated hotels, doubled the number of employees, and successfully navigated epochal crises such as the 2008 financial crash and the pandemic, ensuring stability and development. Manzi has promoted the group's digital transformation, revamping the brand identity and introducing cutting-edge development strategies, becoming a benchmark for digital transformation in the Italian hotel sector. After Best Western, she brought her innovative vision as Senior Advisor and Board Member to significant Italian tourism companies. From The Datappeal to Aetherna, and HNH Hospitality, where she supported the CEO in initiating a digital innovation process for procedures and customer experience.
