Biography
Giuseppe Foti, born in 2003, is a management engineer from the Politecnico di Milano and Co-Founder of Sagr.it, the first Italian digital infrastructure for the transformation of villages and territories into Smart Food and Wine Tourism Districts.
With experience in strategic consulting and an international path at SUPSI in Lugano, they co-founded Sagr.it with a clear vision: to enable the food and wine supply chain of Italian villages to independently communicate with and serve tourists, to understand itself through certified data, and to transform that data into tangible tools for local development for institutions.
To realise this vision, Sagr.it has developed a modular digital infrastructure to support institutional bodies of any size – capable of digitising the entire food and wine supply chain of a territory: from the operational management of events to associated mobility, from cashless payments to automated promotion, to the distribution of typical local products, all converging into a single national portal for discovery and booking.
