Biography
With over 350 business planning, branding, and feasibility projects in the field of hotel development and tourism infrastructure, undertaken between 2002 and 2024, Giorgio Ribaudo is one of the leading national hospitality and tourism analysts.
He has contributed to the industrial development of many of the leading national hotel groups, within the teams of Econstat, KPMG, Horwath HTL and THRENDS.
With a background in the hotel industry that began in 1999, a degree in Tourism Economics and an MBA in the USA, Ribaudo served as an adjunct professor for around twenty years at the University of Bologna, LUISS, and Bocconi. In 2013 he began cataloguing hotel chains in Italy, building the largest and most up-to-date industry information system, which today, at THRENDS, also includes coverage of the luxury segment, hotel transactions, chains, and CapEx.
He is a founding partner of THRENDS and of ITHIC – Italian Hospitality Investment Conference.
