Biography

Originally from Cremona, born in 1952, Indiani has been General Manager since 2005 of the historic Principe di Savoia hotel in Milan, a five-star luxury property owned by the London-based Dorchester group.

Over a 25-year career, Indiani has gained significant international experience in the luxury hospitality sector, working for some of the world's most prestigious hotels, where he has achieved commendable results thanks to his managerial skills combined with Italian style. In fact, in 2002 he was awarded the “Hermes Prize” as the best hotel manager in the world.
Just before taking over the management of the Principe, Indiani managed the Hotel Villa D’Este in Cernobbio, on Lake Como.

Previously he was at the Hotel Des Bergues in Geneva, belonging to the British Forte Group. His collaboration with the Forte Group began in 1987, as deputy manager of the Hyde Park Hotel in London, and, also for the same group, he has managed the Hotel Eden in Rome and the Grand Hotel Palazzo della Fonte in Fiuggi.

Before that, he was deputy general manager and food & beverage manager of the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic and director of catering at the Hilton Cavalieri International Hotel in Rome. Indiani began his career at the Hotel Atlantic in Hamburg, Germany, from where he moved to the Hilton Group in Milan and London.
