Damiano De Crescenzo

After gaining experience abroad with international hotel chains and managing major establishments in Italy, he is the General Manager of Planetaria Hotels (a hotel group with 12 hotels in Italy) and collaborates with Tourism Universities and leading hotel institutes. In 2012, he was awarded Hotel Manager of the Year by the EHMA European Hotel Manager Association, under the patronage of the Italian Presidency of the Republic. In 2016, he was awarded the honour of Knight, in 2020 Officer, and in 2025 Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. In 2018, he received the Premio Excellent, the Italian tourism award. Within Manageritalia Lombardia, he is a Councillor and Coordinator of the Heritage Lab Group for the enhancement of Lombardy's UNESCO heritage. He is Deputy National Delegate for the European Hotel Manager Association. Within Assolombarda, he is President of the Hospitality Section, Vice President of the Tourism Group, and a Member of the General Council. Within Confindustria, he is a Member of the General Council of Federturismo.
