Biography
For over twenty years, Barbara Perego has focused her career on writing, creating editorial projects, and the world of food.
She is co-founder and head of partnerships and content for Tablexperience (www.tablexperience.com), the first guide to special and unforgettable tables: Chef’s tables, breathtaking panoramas, locations of artistic or great historical value are collected on a single platform, continuously updated and enriched by interviews with the chefs who have created the most unique experiences.
Tablexperience’s approach is distinctive: it’s not a ranking of restaurants, not a critique of their dishes, and not a grading of chefs’ work, but a detailed narrative that makes room for the emotional impact of each table and the experience it offers. This is not to detract from the great guides and professionals the market already provides, but to propose a different perspective for an audience seeking experiences and emotions that go beyond excellent cuisine.
The guide, independent and transparent (no restaurant can pay to be included in Tablexperience), is already online in Italian and is preparing for the launch of the English version.
At the heart of the project is the belief that the construction of a single identity experience can strengthen the interest of Italian and foreign audiences towards a restaurant, not only in fine dining but also in more accessible settings, if the experience is truly distinctive.
