Biography
Alberto Zanetta, a graduate in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan, has been active since the early 1990s in various sectors of interior design, including restaurants, shops, beauty and wellness centres, hotels, and spas, managing projects through all phases, from marketing analysis and business planning to concept development and realization.
Since 2009, he has collaborated with POLI.Design – founded by Politecnico di Milano – as a lecturer and coordinator of advanced training courses for architects and designers focused on the entertainment, hospitality, wellness, retail, and Ho.Re.Ca. markets. Since 2011, he has been a subject matter expert in the metaproject laboratory at Politecnico di Milano. In these fields, he has given numerous conferences and lectures for trade fairs, conventions, and international university masters programmes in Italy and China, held at Tsinghua University in Beijing, Tongji University in Shanghai, Shanghai Design Promotion Center in Shanghai, and Shenzhen.
He has been a member of several juries for design competitions in the hospitality and wellness sector.
From 2010 to 2013, CEO and Art Director of Ad Maiora Milano, a company producing outdoor furniture and accessories born from a careful reinterpretation of existing objects.
Second Ho.Re.Ca.24 Prize for Innovation of the Year in 2013 with Narsil, a glass holder/social hub produced by Ad Maiora Milan.
Currently involved in the design and consultancy for Hotels and SPAs in Italy and abroad with the hotel consultancy Team, Hotel Guru.
