From London to Hospitality Day: Roberto Costa's success comes from afar
From the family trattoria in Genoa to eight restaurants, six in London and two in Italy, the nominations he first Genoese Gourmet Ambassador and Genoese Ambassador to the World: Roberto Costa's road to success in Genoa is studded with ideas, courage and entrepreneurial possibilities.
A journey that began in 2002, with the creation of the concept of Maxela' Restaurant-Macelleria (butcher in Genoese dialect), a butcher's shop with a kitchen, run in partnership with Alessandro Garrone and Marco Pedrelli. Thirteen restaurants in Italy and one in London were then opened under this brand.
And it was precisely that in London that inspired Roberto Costa to imagine the creation of a own network of restaurants, delivery and online shops where they focus on the highest quality of raw material by focusing on internationalisation.
