Biography
With 30 years of experience in accessible tourism at national and international level, he has been CEO of Village for All V4A®, a leading tourism innovation company specialising in accessible hospitality, since 2008. With Village for All he created the first International Quality Seal of Accessible Hospitality. It developed V4AInside, an app for mapping the accessibility of tourist facilities, and in 2020 launched Destination4All, a project that enhances tourism destinations by making them more accessible and competitive. He has helped companies, tourism businesses and destinations increase profits by improving accessibility for people with accessibility needs, disabilities, the elderly, families with small children and people with food intolerances. He has collaborated with TV and newspaper publications on accessible tourism and has helped draft Pdr/UNI 92/2020 on the accessibility of bathing establishments, drafted the decalogue of the disabled tourist and the accessible tourism entrepreneur, consolidating his reputation as an expert and promoter of inclusive practices.
