Biography
An entrepreneur and man of nature, he is CEO of Casa Costa 1956, a group that includes Hotel La Perla and Berghotel Ladinia in Corvara in Alta Badia, Hotel La Posta in Bagno Vignoni in Val d'Orcia, and Alpine Hotel Gran Fodà in San Vigilio di Marebbe in the Dolomites. Among its many projects in the name of sustainability and social responsibility, it conceived and realised the Maratona de les Dolomites, the Common Good Report, a document assessing the company's commitment to the community, and in 2007 it founded the Costa Family Foundation Onlus, with which it supports solidarity projects in Africa, India and Afghanistan.
It supports projects for the protection of the environment and has opened the first gourmet restaurant in the Dolomites, the Stüa de Michil, obtaining a Michelin star in 2006.
He is the author of FuTurismo - A heartfelt appeal against tourism monoculture.
