Biography

He heads the Porter Institute in Boston, an institution created to give continuity to the studies and contributions of Prof. Michael E. Porter, the father of competitive strategy. He was for fifteen years Institutes Council Leader at the Institute of Strategy and Competitiveness directed by Prof. Porter at Harvard Business School. Today he is Full Professor of Business Strategy in Italy, at LIUC, after having taught in many universities in Italy and abroad. A former Industrial Strategist at the World Bank in Washington D.C. and the UNIDO of the United Nations in Vienna, he has thirty years of experience in advisory and consultancy on strategy for companies, institutions, supply chains and territories. He is Principal Associate for Europe of Porter Development Initiative, a strategy consultancy founded by Prof. Porter. In 2019 his book Entrepreneurship by Design was number one among business best sellers on Amazon. He was inducted by Prof. Porter into the Harvard Business School Hall of Fame.
