Biography

He is the General Manager of Il San Pietro in Positano, an iconic five-star hotel on the Amalfi coast.
He started as a bartender in a hotel while studying Economics and Tourism at the University of Florence. After a few months, he realised that the world of hospitality was the path he wanted to follow. He gained experience abroad, first as a waiter at the Hyde Park Hotel in London and later at the Savoy for training in food & beverage. He returned to Florence to complete his university studies, continuing to work as maitre in the Lungarno hotels, slowly building his career. In 2003, he was in Milan for the opening of the Park Hyatt and after two years was F&B Manager at the Hyatt Regency Charles de Gaulle in Paris, near the airport. Before that, he had only worked in boutique hotels: at the Hyatt he learnt a new and different level of organisation and expertise, managing the constant turnover of customers and staff. In 2012 he became F&B Manager at Il San Pietro in Positano, then Resident Manager and since 2018 he has been Director.
In 2024, it received the Best Service award of the Best Luxury Hotel Awards for its staff's excellence in guest service.
