From luxury hotelier and restaurateur to ultra-sustainable winemaker: Giuseppe Pagano's "return to the land"

Giuseppe Pagano is one of those charismatic characters that his land, Cilento, needed. Originally an entrepreneur in the restaurant-receptive field, with the consecration of the two stupendous establishments, Boutique Hotel Esplanade and Savoy Beach Hotel, and later with the enchanting and recently awarded two Michelin stars, restaurant Tre Olivi, viticulture represents for him a sort of 'return to the land'.

As a restaurateur, I had realised that a dish of excellence necessarily needs a wine of excellence to become a memorable experience. This was the idea of winemaking that I had in mind.
